Our 32 Inch XC Wheel is Here: Anax32
Our decision to develop a 32" wheel was driven by performance data and rider feedback. In response to the needs of tall cyclists and XC racers seeking components at the forefront of the sport, the Anax32 is designed to deliver improved rollover, increased grip, and greater stability.
“Big” Doesn’t Have to Mean “Heavy”
By nature of its size, a 32″ wheel has more material in the rim, spokes, and tire, which usually means extra rotational mass. We've addressed this with the Anax32 by building it with premium materials, an optimized layup, and engineering excellence for a light rim weight and stable performance. Our Anax32 weighs just 380g and passes the 105J impact test.
Better Momentum & Smoother Ride
Larger wheels maintain momentum better and offer increased traction. The 32-inch diameter of Anax32 allows riders to roll over rocks, roots, and rugged obstacles with substantially less effort – transforming resistance into fluid motion. Size also matters for comfort. The larger diameter helps to smooth out trail feedback, providing a more comfortable ride on rugged surfaces.
Greater Contact Patch, Better Handling
With Anax32, stability is reimagined through a significantly greater contact patch, leading to more predictable, stable handling on any surface. Paired with wide 2.40" tires, the platform offers increased grip across diverse conditions—from dirt and sand to soft snow.
Proportional Aesthetic For Tall Cyclists
For riders 6' and up, our new Anax32 offers a practical advantage: standard 29-inch wheels can look and feel a bit small. By scaling the wheels up, a frame with 32" wheels fits a tall person with more balanced geometry. The bike also looks more proportional – no more “circus bike” appearance for the very tall.

Additionally, we provide options for both spokes — such as Berd and Alpina — and tires like the Maxxis, for a mixed-wheel set-up on your 32" bike.
