Ceramic bearings made to last - Our Speed hubs now come equipped with ceramic bearings from TPI, one of the world's most prominent global bearing suppliers. These ceramic bearings are designed to last, and provide less friction and increased durability compared to steel bearings. Additionally, the bearings are well-sealed and easily serviceable, meaning that with proper hub maintenance your wheels will spin smoothly for years.
36-tooth engagement - The Speed hub features a time-tested pawl system and has been upgraded in our latest version from 24-tooth to 36-tooth internals. This upgrade provides riders with faster engagement in response to every pedal stroke, resulting in a more responsive and efficient ride.
Flyweight Carbon Spokes: The Advantage You Need
The Flyweight spokes-SE are specially designed to pair seamlessly with our Speed Hubs through the use of specially designed aluminium nipples. These SE spokes feature increased aerodynamics compared to the regular version, with the 2023 version featuring an even lower-profile design (4.5mm) to compete more effectively with comparable bladed steel spokes. This design significantly reduces aero drag and caters to road and gravel racers who prioritize marginal gains from their components.
Our engineers have also optimized the carbon layup of the spokes for greater tensile strength, resulting in a 35.16% increase in maximum tensile strength based on our most recent lab test results.
